Both Houses of Federal Parliament to convene today



KATHMANDU: Both Houses of the Federal Parliament are scheduled to hold meetings today.

According to the agenda, the House of Representatives will convene at Singha Durbar at 1:00 pm. During the meeting, Prime Minister Balendra Shah is expected to present the “Seventh Annual Report of the National Natural Resources and Fiscal Commission, 2082.”

Likewise, Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle is scheduled to table a proposal seeking permission to introduce the “Alternative Development Finance Mobilization Bill, 2082,” followed by the presentation of the bill itself.

Speaker DP Aryal is also scheduled to read out a letter received from the President’s Office regarding changes in the order of precedence of the Council of Ministers.

Meanwhile, the National Assembly will meet at 1:15 pm. Prime Minister Shah is scheduled to present the “Annual Report of the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority for the Fiscal Year 2081/82.”
