Gold price jumps by Rs 7,400 per tola



KATHMANDU: The price of gold increased by Rs 7,400 per tola on Wednesday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold has been fixed at Rs 297,600 per tola for the day. The precious metal was traded at Rs 290,200 per tola on Tuesday.

Overall, gold prices have risen by Rs 9,100 per tola over the past week. Last Wednesday, gold was traded at Rs 288,500 per tola.

Meanwhile, the price of silver has also increased today.

Silver has gone up by Rs 100 per tola compared to the previous day. The metal, which was traded at Rs 4,845 per tola yesterday, has reached Rs 4,945 per tola today.

Last Wednesday, silver was traded at around Rs 4,920 per tola.
