Encroachment not tolerable, says NC leader Koirala

KATHMANDU: Central member of Nepali Congress, Dr. Shekhar Koirala has said his party would not in any way compromise Nepal’s sovereignty, geographical integrity, nationality and democracy.

“We have been reiterating that NC stands firm on its stance,” Dr. Koirala said on Sunday adding that the encroachment of Nepal’s land by any country will not be acceptable and tolerable.

“NC has already made its official stance clear on the issue of land encroachment,” he said while urging the government to immediately initiate diplomatic efforts to resolve the issue at the earliest.
