NC holding Central Executive Committee meeting today



KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress (NC) is holding a meeting of its Central Executive Committee today to finalize the names of lawmakers to be elected under the proportional representation (PR) system.

The meeting is scheduled to take place at the party’s central office at 1:00 pm. According to the party, the meeting will discuss and decide on the final list of members of the House of Representatives to be selected based on the number of seats the party secured under the proportional representation system in the recently concluded elections.

The names will be chosen from among the candidates included in the closed list submitted by the party to the Election Commission before the elections.

Acting Chief Secretary of the party’s central office, Krishna Prasad Dulal, has issued a notice requesting all office bearers and members of the Central Working Committee to attend the meeting on time.
