Gold price rises by Rs 2,000 per tola



KATHMANDU: The price of gold has increased in the Nepali market on Wednesday, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association.

The federation stated that the price of hallmark gold has risen by Rs 2,000 per tola, reaching Rs 319,000 per tola today.

On Tuesday, gold was traded at Rs 317,000 per tola in the domestic market.

Meanwhile, the price of silver has remained stable. Silver is being traded at Rs 5,720 per tola, the same rate as Tuesday.

According to international media reports, gold is currently trading at around $5,210 per ounce in the international market, while silver is being traded at about $89 per ounce.
