RSP candidate Gauri Kumari wins Mahottari-4



JALESHWAR: Gauri Kumari of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has been elected to the House of Representatives from Mahottari-4.

According to Chief Election Officer Madhav Prasad Adhikari, Kumari secured victory with 30,132 votes in the vote count completed on Sunday.

Her closest rival, Surendra Kumar Yadav of the Janata Samajbadi Party Nepal, received 8,745 votes.

Meanwhile, Nilam Adhikari of the CPN-UML party secured 6,944 votes, while Mahendra Kumar Rai of the Nepali Congress received 6,192 votes, according to the Office of the Chief Election Officer.
