NRB publishes today’s foreign currency exchange rates

KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has published the foreign exchange rates for today.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been set at Rs 146.06 and the selling rate at Rs 146.66.

The buying rate of one euro stands at Rs 169.20 and the selling rate at Rs 169.90. Similarly, the UK pound sterling is being traded at Rs 193.85 (buying) and Rs 194.65 (selling), while the Swiss franc is fixed at Rs 185.47 (buying) and Rs 186.23 (selling).

Among other major currencies, the Australian dollar has a buying rate of Rs 102.45 and a selling rate of Rs 102.87. The Canadian dollar is set at Rs 106.45 (buying) and Rs 106.89 (selling), while the Singapore dollar stands at Rs 114.10 (buying) and Rs 114.57 (selling).

The buying rate of 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.25 and the selling rate is Rs 9.28. The Chinese yuan is fixed at Rs 21.17 (buying) and Rs 21.25 (selling). The Saudi Arabian riyal is set at Rs 38.92 (buying) and Rs 39.08 (selling), and the Qatari riyal at Rs 40.06 (buying) and Rs 40.22 (selling).

Likewise, the Thai baht has a buying rate of Rs 4.59. The UAE dirham is fixed at Rs 39.76 (buying) and Rs 39.93 (selling). The Malaysian ringgit stands at Rs 37.01 (buying) and Rs 37.17 (selling). The buying rate of 100 South Korean won is Rs 9.85 and the selling rate is Rs 9.89. The Swedish krona is set at Rs 15.74 (buying) and Rs 15.80 (selling), while the Danish krone is fixed at Rs 22.65 (buying) and Rs 22.75 (selling).

The buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar is Rs 18.72 and the selling rate is Rs 18.80. The Kuwaiti dinar is set at Rs 477.32 (buying) and Rs 479.28 (selling), the Bahraini dinar at Rs 387.07 (buying) and Rs 388.66 (selling), and the Omani rial at Rs 379.38 (buying) and Rs 380.94 (selling).

Similarly, the exchange rate for 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs 160 (buying) and Rs 160.15 (selling).

The central bank has stated that the exchange rates may be revised at any time as required. Rates set by commercial banks may vary, and updated rates are available on the bank’s official website.
