Kathmandu records 10°C minimum temperature today



KATHMANDU: The minimum temperature in Kathmandu was recorded at 10 degrees Celsius at 5:45 a.m. today, according to the Weather Forecasting Division.

At the same time on Sunday, the minimum temperature stood at 9.8 degrees Celsius, while the last recorded minimum was 9.4 degrees Celsius at 8:45 a.m. On Saturday, the minimum temperature was 9.5 degrees Celsius.

The official minimum temperature for the day is determined at 8:45 a.m., and meteorologists say it may decrease slightly by that time or remain close to the early morning reading.

The Division records daily minimum and maximum temperatures across the country, including in Kathmandu. The minimum temperature reflects conditions from night to early morning, while the maximum temperature indicates daytime conditions. The maximum temperature is officially recorded at 5:45 p.m.
