The objective of the competition to be organized by the Nepal Association of Rafting Agents (NARA) is to promote domestic and foreign tourism.

NARA president Ganga Prasad Nepal said as, in the previous years, NARA was going to organize the kayak and corporate rafting race under the Challenge this year also. He added that the Bhote Koshi river has been chosen as the venue for the competition in view of the geographical proximity, the condition of the river and other technical reasons.

The kayaking competition will be held under three headings, namely salolome, boater cross and downriver race. Group rafting race will be held under a single topic with the participation of the corporate houses.
