Oli continues voter outreach in Jhapa ahead of March 5 polls



KATHMANDU: As the House of Representatives election slated for March 5 draws closer, CPN-UML Chair KP Sharma Oli is set to continue his meetings with voters in Jhapa today.

Oli is scheduled to visit various locations in Kamal Rural Municipality to interact directly with local residents.

According to Devendra Dahal, coordinator of the CPN-UML Election Mobilization Committee for Jhapa Constituency No. 5, Oli will hold meetings at eight different places within the rural municipality throughout Thursday.

The UML chair is scheduled to meet locals at Sirijanga Chowk in Simle, Kamal-5, at 11:00 am. At 12:30 pm, he will visit the Radhakrishna Temple in Jharbari of the same ward to interact with voters.

Likewise, Oli will meet locals at Sano Kerakha in Kamal-3 at 1:30 pm, Bhalayodanda in Kamal-4 at 2:30 pm, and Bhutlung in Kamal-2 at 3:30 pm.

He is also scheduled to reach Jeevan Chowk in the same ward at 4:00 pm, Naya Basti—located in wards 4 and 6—at 4:30 pm, and Ratnapur Tol, Mangalbare in Kamal-5 at 5:00 pm, concluding the day’s program.

On Wednesday, Oli had visited 11 different locations in Gaurigunj Rural Municipality, where he interacted with voters and local residents.
