6,622 students to graduate at Pokhara University’s 21st Convocation



KATHMANDU: A total of 6,622 students who studied at Pokhara University are set to graduate today.

The 21st Convocation Ceremony will be held at Khudi Dhungepatan in Pokhara Metropolitan City–30. According to University Information Officer Lok Prasad Dhakal, degrees will be conferred on students who have completed higher education across various levels and faculties.

Among the graduates, 3,625 students are from the Faculty of Management, 2,506 from the Faculty of Science and Technology, 365 from the Faculty of Health Sciences, and 126 from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.

On the occasion, the Chancellor’s Medal will be awarded to the student securing the highest marks at the postgraduate level, while the Vice-Chancellor’s Medal will be presented to the top-performing student at the undergraduate level.

Similarly, the student obtaining the highest marks in the Bachelor of Computer Information Systems (BCIS) program will receive the Oxford Medal.

A total of 664 students demonstrating outstanding academic performance will also be honored with the “Dean’s List” recognition this year.
