Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign currency exchange rates for today. According to the rates, the buying rate of one US dollar is Rs 144.76 and the selling rate is Rs 145.36.

Similarly, the buying rate of one euro is Rs 170.70 and the selling rate is Rs 171.41. The buying rate of one UK pound sterling is Rs 196.72 and the selling rate is Rs 197.54, while the Swiss franc is being traded at a buying rate of Rs 186.09 and a selling rate of Rs 186.86.

The buying rate of one Australian dollar is Rs 101.01 and the selling rate is Rs 101.43. One Canadian dollar is being bought at Rs 105.78 and sold at Rs 106.22, while the Singapore dollar has a buying rate of Rs 113.68 and a selling rate of Rs 114.16.

The buying rate of 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.22 and the selling rate is Rs 9.26. One Chinese yuan is being bought at Rs 20.86 and sold at Rs 20.95. The Saudi Arabian riyal has a buying rate of Rs 38.60 and a selling rate of Rs 38.76, while the Qatari riyal is being traded at Rs 39.61 (buying) and Rs 39.77 (selling).

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one Thai baht is Rs 4.58. One UAE dirham is being bought at Rs 39.41 and sold at Rs 39.58. The Malaysian ringgit has a buying rate of Rs 36.67 and a selling rate of Rs 36.82.

The buying rate of 100 South Korean won is Rs 9.87 and the selling rate is Rs 9.91. One Swedish krona is being bought at Rs 15.98 and sold at Rs 16.05, while the Danish krone has a buying rate of Rs 22.86 and a selling rate of Rs 22.95.

Nepal Rastra Bank has set the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at Rs 18.52 and the selling rate at Rs 18.60. The Kuwaiti dinar is being traded at Rs 473.69 (buying) and Rs 475.65 (selling), while the Bahraini dinar has a buying rate of Rs 383.97 and a selling rate of Rs 385.56. The Omani rial is being bought at Rs 376.02 and sold at Rs 377.58. Similarly, the buying rate of 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs 160 and the selling rate at Rs 160.15.

The central bank stated that the exchange rates may be revised at any time as required. It also noted that rates set by commercial banks may differ, and the updated rates are available on the Nepal Rastra Bank website.
