Unity among communist forces is essential today: Coordinator Dahal

KATHMANDU: Coordinator of the Nepali Communist Party (NCP), Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, has said that the unity among communist parties has strengthened with the acknowledgment of the necessity for a new national power.

While addressing the ‘Election Special Grand Assembly’ held today by the Solu-Kathmandu Liaison Coordination Committee, former Prime Minister Dahal emphasized that the NCP was established to safeguard national sovereignty and counter foreign conspiracies.

“The unity of the party has been realized with the commitment to create national power by bringing together various communist parties and socialist factions, aiming to meet public expectations through elections,” Coordinator Dahal remarked.

He called on the public to ensure the success of NCP candidates in the upcoming House of Representatives elections scheduled for March 5, amidst adverse circumstances.
