Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the official foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been set at Rs 146.56, while the selling rate stands at Rs 147.16.

The buying rate of one euro has been fixed at Rs 175.42 and the selling rate at Rs 176.14. Similarly, the UK pound sterling is being bought at Rs 201.89 and sold at Rs 202.71, while the Swiss franc has a buying rate of Rs 190.72 and a selling rate of Rs 191.50.

Likewise, the Australian dollar is being traded at Rs 102.58 for buying and Rs 103.00 for selling, the Canadian dollar at Rs 107.97 and Rs 108.41, and the Singapore dollar at Rs 116.17 and Rs 116.65, respectively.

The buying rate of 10 Japanese yen has been fixed at Rs 9.60 and the selling rate at Rs 9.64. The Chinese yuan is being bought at Rs 21.10 and sold at Rs 21.19, while the Saudi Arabian riyal has a buying rate of Rs 39.08 and a selling rate of Rs 39.24. Similarly, the Qatari riyal is being traded at Rs 40.21 for buying and Rs 40.38 for selling.

According to the central bank, the Thai baht is being bought at Rs 4.71 and sold at Rs 4.73, the UAE dirham at Rs 39.90 and Rs 40.07, and the Malaysian ringgit at Rs 37.40 and Rs 37.55. The buying and selling rates for 100 South Korean won stand at Rs 10.24 and Rs 10.29, respectively.

The Swedish krona is being traded at Rs 16.60 for buying and Rs 16.66 for selling, while the Danish krona has been fixed at Rs 23.49 and Rs 23.59.

Nepal Rastra Bank has set the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at Rs 18.78 and the selling rate at Rs 18.86. Similarly, the Kuwaiti dinar is being bought at Rs 480.92 and sold at Rs 482.89, the Bahraini dinar at Rs 388.75 and Rs 390.34, and the Omani rial at Rs 380.70 and Rs 382.26.

The buying rate of 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs 160, while the selling rate stands at Rs 160.15. The central bank has stated that these exchange rates may be revised at any time as required, and the rates set by commercial banks may differ.
