KATHMANDU: A secretariat meeting of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) is underway at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar, Kathmandu.

The meeting has been called to finalize the names of the candidates to contest in the upcoming by-elections scheduled for November 30.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister K P Oli has called for an emergency cabinet meeting after the secretariat meeting.
