Deuba urges party cadres to bridge intra-party rift

CHITWAN: Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba has urged party cadres to maintain the utmost unity and translate it into action in the upcoming by-election.

Talking to party cadres in Chitwan on Sunday, Deuba urged them to brush aside differences so as to secure victory in the upcoming election.

He emphasized ending the intraparty conflict to ensure victory in the polls to be held on November 30.

According to him, the NC faced a defeat in the last elections because of factionalism within the party.

“It is high time that the party leaders and cadres acted in unity to ensure victory,” he told party cadres.
