Nepal to face India, Bangladesh in Asia Cup



KATHMANDU: Nepal will be playing in the ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup to be held in Bangladesh on November 12-24.

As per the fixtures made public by the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) on Thursday, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Oman have been pooled in Group ‘A’ and India, Bangladesh, Hong Kong and  Nepal in Group ‘B’.

Nepal will play its first match against India on November 14 and face Hong Kong on November 16. Likewise, Nepal will take on the host Bangladesh in its last group match on November 18.

Top two teams from the two groups will qualify for semifinals. The final will held on November 23.
