Gold price drops by Rs 2,900 per tola



KATHMANDU: After reaching a record high the previous day, the price of gold in Nepal fell by Rs 2,900 per tola on Thursday.

The Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association fixed the price at Rs 292,200 per tola, down from Rs 295,100 per tola the day before.

The decline follows a slight drop in international gold rates, which currently hover around USD 4,800 per ounce, prompting local adjustments.

Silver prices also decreased, dropping Rs 50 per tola from Rs 5,920 to Rs 5,870.
