No alternative to polls to resolve political issues, Coordinator Prachanda says

KATHMANDU: Coordinator of Nepali Communist Party Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said that there was no other option but to hold elections on time to end the political challenges of the country.

Welcoming leaders from different political parties in the Nepali Communist Party on Saturday, the former Prime Minister stated that we all should get fully prepared for the polls instead of the idea of the reinstatement of the House of Representatives (HoR).

Urging the government to hold the elections in a free and fair manner, Coordinator Prachanda stated that current political uncertainties and confusion should be resolved by ensuring good governance.

On the occasion, he said that polarization of the like-minded communist forces was ongoing and some other political parties will also join the Nepali Communist Party in some days.

During the event, Joint Coordinator of the Nepali Communist Party Madhav Kumar Nepal claimed that his party has received wide public attention due to its clear socialist programmes.
