NCP announces candidates from Sudurpashchim for upcoming election



DHANGADHI: The Nepali Communist Party (NCP) led by Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has finalized its list of candidates in Sudurpashchim Province for the upcoming elections on March 5.

The party, under the influence of leader Dr. Bhim Rawal, has selected candidates for various constituencies. In Kailali, Prem Ale will contest from constituency No. 5, Hari Chaudhary ‘Utsav’ from No. 4, Bir Man Chaudhari from No. 3, and Rajendra Saud from No. 2. The candidate for Kailali-1 has yet to be finalized.

In Kanchanpur, Bina Magar will contest from constituency No. 1, Lal Bahadur Khadka from No. 2, and Man Bahadur Sunar from No. 3.

Bhim Rawal will contest from his home district Achham, constituency No. 1, while Sharad Singh Bhandari has received the ticket for constituency No. 2.

From the districts of former Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba’s home region, Man Singh Mal will contest from Dadeldhura, while Laxman Datt Joshi has been confirmed for Darchula. From Bajhang, Meen Bahadur Kunwar has been selected.

Paramanand Bhatt has been chosen for Baitadi, Trilochan Bhatt for Doti, and Prakash Bahadur Shah, who left CPN-UML last Kartik, will contest from Bajura.
