Narayan Khadka asks Nepali Congress to withdraw his name from House candidate recommendation



KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress leader Dr. Narayan Khadka has requested the party to remove his name from the proposed list of candidates for the House of Representatives.

In a letter addressed to the chief secretary at the party’s central office, Khadka asked that his name be withdrawn from the recommendation forwarded by the Nepali Congress Koshi Province Working Committee for the House of Representatives seat from Udayapur constituency–1.

He also requested the central office to formally inform the concerned bodies about his decision.

No official reason for seeking the withdrawal has been made public so far.
