HONG KONG: Anti-government protestors in Hong Kong set fire to shops and hurled petrol bombs, international media reports have said.

Demonstrators hurled petrol bombs after police fired tear gas, rubber bullets and water cannons to disperse them.

Protesters, several in all-black clothing and face-masks, had gathered to denounce police brutality during over four months of unrest in Hong Kong. (Agencies)
