Special convention schedule revised; closed session and registration to continue on Tuesday



KATHMANDU: The schedule of the Nepali Congress’s second special convention has been revised. Although the convention, scheduled for January 11 and 12, began its closed session on Monday, the program could not be completed within the timeframe due to prolonged discussions on various reports.

According to a notice issued by the Special Convention Secretariat, the convention will resume on Tuesday  from 8:00 am. Under the revised schedule, the closed session will continue on Tuesday as well.

The secretariat has also stated that the registration process for convention delegates will continue on Tuesday.

Delegates are currently engaged in in-depth discussions on political, organizational, and other reports presented at the convention.

The revised schedule has been formally communicated to all convention delegates and concerned parties through a notice issued by Special Convention Management Secretariat Coordinator Manoj Mani Acharya.
