NEPSE slips 13.35 points amid Rs 5.17 billion turnover



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index declined by 13.35 points on Wednesday, closing at 2,635.94 points. The benchmark index slipped amid a total trading turnover of Rs 5.17 billion.

A total of 187 companies witnessed a fall in their share prices, while the prices of 62 companies increased. Shares of 10 companies remained unchanged during the trading session.

Despite the overall market decline, investors in Narayani Development Bank booked the highest gains of the day. In contrast, shareholders of SY Panel suffered the highest losses.

Following the market downturn, all sectoral sub-indices ended in negative territory except the finance and trading groups, which managed to close in the green.
