NUWAKOT: Speakers at a program organized in Nuwakot to observe the 111th birth anniversary of Mahakavi Laxmi Prasad Devkota have praised his contribution to the Nepali literature.

They recalled Devkota as a talent who was able to write ‘Shakuntal’ epic in three months, ‘Sulochana’ epic in 10 days and ‘Kunjini’, a short epic, in a day.

They also rued over the government’s failure to carve out Nepal as envisioned by Devkota.
