CPN-UML holding Secretariat meeting today



KATHMANDU: The CPN-UML is holding a meeting of its Secretariat today at 1 pm at the party’s central office in Chyasal, Lalitpur.

Rajendra Gautam, head of the Central Publicity Department, stated that the preparations for the party’s 11th general convention will be a key topic of discussion.

The UML convention is scheduled to take place in Kathmandu from December 13 to 15. On November 29, the party will select representatives from across the country for the convention.

Gautam also noted that the Secretariat meeting will discuss the large demonstration and assembly planned in Kathmandu on Saturday.

In addition, the party plans to address the issue of filing a writ for the restoration of the dissolved House of Representatives at a later stage.
