Seven-year-old girl dies after fall from under-construction temple in Taplejung



TAPLEJUNG: A seven-year-old girl died after falling from the premises of an under-construction Manghim Temple at Phungling-9 in Taplejung district on Friday evening.

The victim has been identified as Arpana Nugo Limbu, daughter of Bir Bahadur Nugo of Phurmbu, Phungling-10, according to the District Police Office, Taplejung.

Acting Police Chief and Inspector Rohit Sharma Badhai said the child fell from the temple structure and died on the spot.

Police said the necessary medical and legal procedures were underway, and preparations were being made to hand over the body to her family.
