Nepal Samajwadi Party, Pragatisheel Rastriya Abhiyan, and Santosh Pariyar sign 5-point agreement

KATHMANDU: A 5-point agreement has been reached between the Nepal Samajwadi Party (Naya Shakti), Pragatisheel Rastriya Abhiyan, and Santosh Pariyar, who resigned from the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) today (Friday).

Dr. Baburam Bhattarai of Naya Shakti, Pragatisheel Rastriya Abhiyan leader Janardan Sharma, and other leaders participated in the signing ceremony.

“Against the backdrop of the Gen-Z movement and the country’s severe economic and political crises—marked by corruption, nepotism, unemployment, and widespread inefficiencies in political parties—an agreement has been reached among the Nepal Samajwadi Party, Pragatisheel Rastriya Abhiyan, and outgoing House of Representatives member Santosh Pariyar,” the statement said.

“The aim is to provide a progressive solution to national politics and restructure Nepali politics as a whole by fulfilling this challenging historical task,” it added.
