ANFA talks with players break down over demand for live broadcast

KATHMANDU: Talks between the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) and the Nepal Football Players’ Association collapsed on Monday after ANFA refused to allow a live broadcast of the discussions.

Earlier, a team led by Players’ Association Chair Bikram Lama had gone to ANFA’s headquarters at Satdobato to negotiate. The players insisted that the dialogue must be streamed live, warning they would not participate otherwise.

When ANFA did not agree to this demand, the players submitted their seven-point memorandum and left without holding further discussions.
