Korala Customs collects Rs 3 billion in three months

MUSTANG: The Korala Customs Office has collected Rs 3.02 billion in revenue during the first three months of the current fiscal year.

According to Office Chief Ramesh Khadka, 1,498 electric vehicles and 671 cargo containers carrying various goods were imported through the checkpoint, while 28 cargo vehicles transporting Nepali products were exported to the Xinjiang autonomous region of China.

Currently, the majority of Nepal’s trade with China is conducted via the Korala checkpoint, as the Tatopani and Rasuwagadhi checkpoints remain blocked due to floods and landslides.
