Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has published the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been set at Rs 141.56 and the selling rate at Rs 142.16.

Similarly, the buying and selling rates for one European euro stand at Rs 162.63 and Rs 163.32, respectively, while the UK pound sterling is valued at Rs 184.38 for buying and Rs 185.16 for selling. The Swiss franc is trading at Rs 174.74 for buying and Rs 175.48 for selling.

The buying rate for one Australian dollar is Rs 91.70 and the selling rate Rs 92.09. One Canadian dollar is being bought at Rs 100.17 and sold at Rs 100.60, while one Singapore dollar is priced at Rs 108.31 for buying and Rs 108.77 for selling.

Among Asian currencies, 10 Japanese yen are being bought at Rs 9.21 and sold at Rs 9.25. One Chinese yuan stands at Rs 19.86 for buying and Rs 19.95 for selling. The Saudi Arabian riyal is trading at Rs 37.74 for buying and Rs 37.90 for selling, while the Qatari riyal is priced at Rs 38.84 and Rs 39.00, respectively.

According to NRB, the Thai baht is valued at Rs 4.35 for buying, and the UAE dirham at Rs 38.54 for buying and Rs 38.70 for selling. The Malaysian ringgit stands at Rs 33.77 for buying and Rs 33.92 for selling.

The rate for 100 South Korean won is Rs 9.79 for buying and Rs 9.84 for selling. The Swedish krona is priced at Rs 14.77 for buying and Rs 14.83 for selling, while the Danish krone trades at Rs 21.78 and Rs 21.88, respectively.

The buying rate for one Hong Kong dollar is Rs 18.21 and the selling rate Rs 18.28. One Kuwaiti dinar is priced at Rs 460.84 for buying and Rs 462.79 for selling, while the Bahraini dinar stands at Rs 375.50 and Rs 377.09, respectively.

The Omani rial is trading at Rs 367.67 for buying and Rs 369.23 for selling. Similarly, the rate for 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs 160 for buying and Rs 160.15 for selling.

The central bank has stated that these rates are subject to revision as needed. Exchange rates offered by commercial banks may vary, and the latest updates are available on the Nepal Rastra Bank’s official website.
