Over 128,000 tourists visit Nepal in October alone



KATHMANDU: A total of 128,443 tourists visited Nepal in October, marking one of the busiest months of the year for tourism.

October traditionally falls in Nepal’s peak tourist season, and the latest data from the Nepal Tourism Board show a strong influx of visitors from around the world.

According to the Board, 29,060 visitors arrived from South Asia, 23,127 from other parts of Asia, 40,500 from Europe, 6,814 from Oceania, 16,407 from the Americas, 3,548 from the Middle East, 443 from Africa, and 8,444 from other regions.

From January to October this year, a total of 943,716 tourists have entered Nepal.
