Gold price up by Rs 700 per tola today



KATHMANDU: The price of gold in the local market has risen modestly today compared to last Friday.

According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold increased by Rs 700 per tola, while silver fell by Rs 5 per tola.

The price of gold, which was traded at Rs 239,000 per tola last Friday, has been fixed at Rs 239,700 per tola today, the Association said. Similarly, the price of silver has been set at Rs 3,055 per tola.

According to international media reports, gold is being traded at US$ 4,000 per ounce in the international market today.
