Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has announced the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar has been fixed at Rs 141.73, while the selling rate stands at Rs 142.33.

Similarly, one Euro is being bought at Rs 164 and sold at Rs 164.75. The buying rate for one Pound Sterling is Rs 186.19, and the selling rate is Rs 186.98.

The Swiss Franc is being bought at Rs 176.63 and sold at Rs 177.38. Likewise, the buying and selling rates for one Australian dollar are Rs 92.75 and Rs 93.14, respectively. One Canadian dollar is being bought at Rs 101.15 and sold at Rs 101.58, while the Singapore dollar stands at Rs 108.97 (buying) and Rs 109.43 (selling).

For Asian currencies, the buying rate for 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.20 and the selling rate is Rs 9.24. One Chinese yuan is being bought at Rs 19.92 and sold at Rs 20.01. The Saudi Arabian riyal stands at Rs 37.79 (buying) and Rs 37.95 (selling), while the Qatari riyal is at Rs 38.88 (buying) and Rs 39.05 (selling).

According to NRB, the Thai baht is being bought at Rs 4.39 and sold at Rs 4.41, the UAE dirham at Rs 38.59 (buying) and Rs 38.75 (selling), and the Malaysian ringgit at Rs 33.84 (buying) and Rs 33.99 (selling).

Similarly, 100 South Korean won are being bought at Rs 9.93 and sold at Rs 9.97. The Swedish krona stands at Rs 15.06 (buying) and Rs 15.15 (selling), while the Danish krone is at Rs 21.96 (buying) and Rs 22.05 (selling).

The Hong Kong dollar is being bought at Rs 18.24 and sold at Rs 18.32. The Kuwaiti dinar stands at Rs 461.83 (buying) and Rs 463.78 (selling), the Bahraini dinar at Rs 375.97 (buying) and Rs 377.56 (selling), and the Omani rial at Rs 368.12 (buying) and Rs 369.67 (selling).

The exchange rate for 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs 160 (buying) and Rs 160.15 (selling).

NRB has stated that the exchange rates are subject to revision as necessary and may vary slightly among commercial banks. Updated rates are available on the central bank’s official website.
