NEPSE up by 62.29 points,



KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) saw a positive rally on Tuesday, rising by 62.29 points, bringing the index to a new level of 2,571.34 points.

Despite a brief dip at the opening, the market remained green for the rest of the day. The trading volume also saw a significant increase, reaching Rs 4.57 billion, up from the previous day’s Rs 2.79 billion.

Out of 236 listed companies, 224 saw an increase in their stock prices, while 12 experienced a decline and two remained unchanged.

Among the top performers, the Development Bank group surged by 4.47%, followed by notable gains in Banking (1.92%), Finance (3.14%), Hotels and Tourism (2.80%), Hydropower (3.90%), Investment (3.19%), Life Insurance (3.55%), Manufacturing and Processing (0.37%), Microfinance (2.59%), Non-Life Insurance (2.54%), and Other groups (1.91%).
