7 killed, 9 injured in jeep accident in Rukum West



RUKUM WEST: Seven people were killed and nine others were seriously injured in a jeep accident in Jharmare, on the border of Bafikot Rural Municipality and Aathbiskot Municipality, Rukum West, on Friday.

According to police, the accident involved a Bolero jeep (Ra 1 Ja 422) that was heading from the district headquarters, Khalanga, toward Syalakhadhi.

The driver, Topjung Budha, sustained serious injuries in the crash. Police said rescue operations are underway, and details of the incident are still being collected.
