Parked buses catch fire in Lalitpur



KATHMANDU: Two parked buses caught fire all of a sudden near Sichai Hity in Lalitpur Metropolitan City-13 on Sunday.

The fire was doused by fire engines with the help of locals and police, said DSP Gautam Mishra of Metropolitan Police Circle, Satdobato.

The buses (Ba 3 Kha 1389 and Ba 3 Kha 166) have been totally damaged due to the fire. Another parked bus (Ba 2 Kha 5945) has also been partially damaged, police said.

The cause of the fire has yet to be ascertained.
