Prime Minister Karki to address the nation today

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Sushila Karki is set to deliver a national address at 6 p.m. today (Thursday), her first since assuming office as head of the interim government.

Officials say the speech will include Dashain greetings along with key messages on national priorities. Anil Baniya, a Gen Z leader close to the Prime Minister, said the address is expected to last around one hour.

Karki was appointed Prime Minister on September 12. On the same day, she recommended the dissolution of the House of Representatives (HoR), a move that was approved by President Ram Chandra Paudel.
