Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the official foreign currency exchange rates for today.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been set at Rs. 140.65, while the selling rate stands at Rs. 141.25. Similarly, the buying rate of one euro is Rs. 165.34, and the selling rate is Rs. 166.05.

The UK pound sterling is being traded at a buying rate of Rs. 189.79 and a selling rate of Rs. 190.60. One Swiss franc is being exchanged at Rs. 176.81 for buying and Rs. 177.56 for selling.

The Australian dollar’s buying and selling rates are Rs. 92.86 and Rs. 93.25, respectively. The Canadian dollar is being traded at Rs. 101.87 for buying and Rs. 102.31 for selling. For the Singapore dollar, the buying rate is Rs. 109.51 and the selling rate is Rs. 109.98.

Likewise, the buying rate of 10 Japanese yen is Rs. 9.50, while the selling rate is Rs. 9.54. One Chinese yuan is being exchanged at Rs. 19.77 for buying and Rs. 19.85 for selling. The Saudi Arabian riyal is set at Rs. 37.50 for buying and Rs. 37.66 for selling, while the Qatari riyal stands at Rs. 38.59 and Rs. 38.75, respectively.

The Thai baht is being traded at Rs. 4.41 for buying and Rs. 4.43 for selling. The UAE dirham’s rates are Rs. 38.29 for buying and Rs. 38.46 for selling. The Malaysian ringgit is valued at Rs. 33.43 for buying and Rs. 33.57 for selling.

Additionally, one hundred South Korean won is being exchanged at Rs. 10.07 for buying and Rs. 10.12 for selling. The Swedish krona stands at Rs. 14.97 for buying and Rs. 15.03 for selling, while the Danish kroner is valued at Rs. 22.15 and Rs. 22.25, respectively.

The Hong Kong dollar has been set at Rs. 18.09 for buying and Rs. 18.17 for selling. The Kuwaiti dinar is being traded at Rs. 460.51 for buying and Rs. 462.48 for selling. The Bahraini dinar stands at Rs. 373.00 for buying and Rs. 374.59 for selling, while the Omani rial is valued at Rs. 365.30 and Rs. 366.85, respectively.

Meanwhile, the buying rate of 100 Indian rupees has been fixed at Rs. 160.00, and the selling rate at Rs. 160.15.

Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these exchange rates are subject to change and may be revised at any time if needed. The rates offered by commercial banks may differ slightly. For the most updated information, the central bank advises referring to its official website.
