Krishna Prasad Sitaula appeals for unity during national crisis



KATHMANDU: Former Nepali Congress General Secretary Krishna Prasad Sitaula has appealed to political party leaders and civil society to remain united and vigilant during the ongoing crisis.

In a statement released on Wednesday, Sitaula urged leaders and citizens to maintain high morale, exercise restraint, and stay emotionally cohesive amid the challenging situation.

“This is an extremely sorrowful time. I earnestly appeal to all political parties, civil society, and brothers and sisters across the country to remain alert, cautious, and emotionally united with patience and high morale,” Sitaula said.

He also expressed concern over the sudden unrest, noting that the people of Nepal have endured immense suffering and distress.

“I sincerely request all relevant stakeholders to maintain law and order and ensure the safety of lives and property of the Nepali people,” the statement added
