KATHMANDU: Rabi Lamichhane, chair of the Rastriya Swatantra Party, has called on protesters to conduct the movement in a disciplined manner.
In a public appeal after his release from jail, Lamichhane paid tribute to those who lost their lives and wished a speedy recovery for the injured. He urged citizens to protect national property.
Lamichhane stated, “The property looted over three generations by corrupt individuals must be nationalized and brought under legal scrutiny. But now it is crucial to act with restraint and safeguard the nation’s assets.”
He emphasized that police, judicial, and security-related documents are vital national property, and any damage to them could have serious consequences for the country.
Lamichhane stressed that the movement should advance under the leadership of the Gen-Z generation. “I support citizens’ sovereignty and believe that the future leadership of the country must reflect the demands and vision of Gen-Z,” he said.
He also clarified that he was released through legal processes and affirmed his readiness to follow all necessary legal procedures in the future.
