Nepali Army call for restraint as protest escalates further



KATHMANDU: The Nepali Army has reiterated its commitment to protecting the lives and property of the people of Nepal amid the ongoing Gen-Z protests.

In an official statement, the Army urged all citizens to exercise restraint to prevent the situation from worsening further. It also reminded the public that safeguarding the nation’s historical, cultural, archaeological, and national assets is the duty of every citizen.

The appeal comes as demonstrations across the country have escalated, with reports of violence, property damage, and attacks on prominent political figures.
