Protesters set fire to Gagan Thapa’s residence



KATHMANDU: Demonstrators enraged by the government’s use of force during the Gen-Z movement has set fire to the residence of Nepali Congress General Secretary Gagan Kumar Thapa in Ratopul on Tuesday.

According to eyewitnesses, protesters torched Thapa’s house shortly after targeting a nearby police post in Ratopul. Prior to the arson, they had been burning tires and staging demonstrations on the adjoining road.
