Nepal Rastra Bank publishes today’s foreign exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has published the official foreign exchange rates for today. As per the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar is set at NPR 140.93, while the selling rate stands at NPR 141.53.

The Euro is being traded at NPR 165.21 for buying and NPR 165.92 for selling, and the UK Pound Sterling at NPR 190.40 and NPR 191.21, respectively.

Similarly, the Swiss Franc has a buying rate of NPR 176.98 and a selling rate of NPR 177.73. The Australian Dollar is being bought at NPR 92.77 and sold at NPR 93.17, while the Canadian Dollar’s buying and selling rates are NPR 101.95 and NPR 102.38, respectively. The Singapore Dollar stands at NPR 109.80 for buying and NPR 110.26 for selling.

Among Asian currencies, 10 Japanese Yen are valued at NPR 9.54 for buying and NPR 9.58 for selling. The Chinese Yuan is being traded at NPR 19.76 (buying) and NPR 19.85 (selling). The Saudi Arabian Riyal has a buying rate of NPR 37.56 and a selling rate of NPR 37.72, whereas the Qatari Riyal stands at NPR 38.67 and NPR 38.83.

In other regional currencies, the Thai Baht is priced at NPR 4.42 for buying and NPR 4.44 for selling. The UAE Dirham is at NPR 38.37 (buying) and NPR 38.53 (selling), and the Malaysian Ringgit is being traded at NPR 33.39 and NPR 33.53, respectively.

The buying rate for 100 South Korean Won is NPR 10.14, with a selling rate of NPR 10.18. The Danish Krone is at NPR 22.13 for buying and NPR 22.22 for selling.

According to the NRB, one Hong Kong Dollar is being bought at NPR 18.09 and sold at NPR 18.16. The Kuwaiti Dinar is priced at NPR 461.37 (buying) and NPR 463.33 (selling), while the Bahraini Dinar stands at NPR 373.82 and NPR 375.42. The Omani Rial is listed with a buying rate of NPR 366.06 and a selling rate of NPR 367.62.

The exchange rate for 100 Indian Rupees has been fixed at NPR 160.00 for buying and NPR 160.15 for selling.

Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these rates are subject to change and may be revised at any time if required. It also noted that commercial banks may offer slightly different rates, and the latest updates can be found on the NRB’s official website.
