Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has released today’s foreign exchange rates. As per the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar has been fixed at Rs 140.93, while the selling rate stands at Rs 141.53.

Similarly, the buying and selling rates for one European euro are Rs 164.66 and Rs 165.36 respectively. The UK pound sterling is being bought at Rs 189.92 and sold at Rs 190.73, while the Swiss franc is being bought at Rs 175.40 and sold at Rs 176.14.

The buying and selling rates for one Australian dollar are Rs 92.22 and Rs 92.62, and for one Canadian dollar, Rs 102.16 and Rs 102.98 respectively. One Singapore dollar is being bought at Rs 109.52 and sold at Rs 109.98.

The buying rate for 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.51, with a selling rate of Rs 9.55. One Chinese yuan is being bought at Rs 19.74 and sold at Rs 19.83.

Similarly, the Saudi Arabian riyal is being bought at Rs 37.56 and sold at Rs 37.72, while the Qatari riyal is being bought at Rs 38.67 and sold at Rs 38.83. The buying and selling rates for one Thai baht are Rs 4.38 and Rs 4.40, while the UAE dirham is being exchanged at Rs 38.37 and Rs 38.53 respectively. The Malaysian ringgit is being bought at Rs 33.36 and sold at Rs 33.50.

The buying rate for 100 South Korean won is Rs 10.13, and the selling rate is Rs 10.18. The Swedish krona is being bought at Rs 14.97 and sold at Rs 15.03, while the Danish krone is being exchanged at Rs 22.06 and Rs 22.15.

For the Hong Kong dollar, the buying and selling rates are Rs 18.06 and Rs 18.14 respectively. The Kuwaiti dinar is being bought at Rs 461.01 and sold at Rs 462.97, the Bahraini dinar at Rs 373.81 and Rs 375.41, and the Omani rial at Rs 366.06 and Rs 367.62.

The buying rate for 100 Indian rupees has been set at Rs 160.00, while the selling rate is Rs 160.15. Nepal Rastra Bank has noted that these exchange rates may be revised at any time as per market conditions.
