UML calls Secretariat meeting



KATHMANDU: The CPN (UML) has called a meeting of its Central Secretariat for Thursday, September 4, at 3:00 pm.

According to party publicity department chief Rajendra Gautam, the meeting will deliberate on the political report for the second Statute Convention, the statute amendment proposal, and the organizational report. He informed that the three reports will be discussed and endorsed before being presented at the convention.

At the Statute Convention, Prime Minister and party chair KP Sharma Oli will present the political report, Vice Chair and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel will present the statute amendment proposal, and General Secretary Shankar Pokharel will present the organizational report.

The UML’s second Statute Convention is scheduled to be held at the Sunrise Conference Center in Godavari, Lalitpur, from September 5 to 7. A total of 2,350 participants, including 2,033 representatives and 317 others, are expected to attend.
