Home Minister Lekhak directs coordinated effort to curb illegal trade

BIRGUNJ: Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak has instructed all relevant agencies to work in coordination to curb the illegal import and export of goods through border checkpoints.

Speaking at a meeting of the Revenue Leakage Control Coordination Committee held at the District Administration Office, Parsa, today, Minister Lekhak emphasized the need for strong collaboration among local administration, customs offices, and the three security agencies to effectively combat smuggling.

“I urge all concerned bodies to coordinate closely to control revenue leakage and take necessary steps to curb other criminal activities occurring in border areas,” said Lekhak.
