PM Oli holds talks with Vietnamese counterpart in China



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli met with his Vietnamese counterpart, Pham Minh Chinh, on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit in Tianjin, China.

During the meeting, the two leaders discussed ways to strengthen bilateral ties, deepen economic cooperation, and explore new areas of partnership, particularly in trade, tourism, and education.

They also exchanged views on regional developments and multilateral collaboration, expressing a shared commitment to maintaining peace, stability, and mutual respect in Asia.

The meeting marked a continuation of high-level engagement between Nepal and Vietnam, following the recent official visit of Vietnamese Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan to Nepal.
