Today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has set the foreign exchange rates for Sunday. According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar is 140 rupees 82 paisa, while the selling rate is 141 rupees 42 paisa.

The buying rate for one European euro stands at 164 rupees 24 paisa and the selling rate at 164 rupees 94 paisa. Similarly, one UK pound sterling is being bought at 189 rupees 49 paisa and sold at 190 rupees 29 paisa. The Swiss franc is being traded at a buying rate of 175 rupees 51 paisa and a selling rate of 176 rupees 26 paisa.

The Australian dollar’s buying and selling rates are 91 rupees 93 paisa and 92 rupees 32 paisa, respectively. The Canadian dollar is being bought at 102 rupees 42 paisa and sold at 102 rupees 85 paisa. Likewise, the Singapore dollar is trading at 109 rupees 56 paisa for buying and 110 rupees 02 paisa for selling.

For Asian currencies, the buying rate of 10 Japanese yen is 9 rupees 57 paisa and the selling rate is 9 rupees 61 paisa. The Chinese yuan stands at 19 rupees 74 paisa for buying and 19 rupees 83 paisa for selling.

The Saudi Arabian riyal is being traded at 37 rupees 53 paisa for buying and 37 rupees 69 paisa for selling, while the Qatari riyal is valued at 38 rupees 63 paisa for buying and 38 rupees 79 paisa for selling.

According to the bank, the buying rate of one Thai baht is 4 rupees 34 paisa and the selling rate is 4 rupees 36 paisa. The UAE dirham is being bought at 38 rupees 34 paisa and sold at 38 rupees 50 paisa.

The Malaysian ringgit trades at 33 rupees 33 paisa for buying and 33 rupees 47 paisa for selling. The buying rate of 100 South Korean won is 10 rupees 12 paisa, while the selling rate is 10 rupees 16 paisa.

The exchange also includes the Danish kroner, with a buying rate of 22 rupees and a selling rate of 22 rupees 10 paisa. Additionally, the Hong Kong dollar is being bought at 18 rupees 06 paisa and sold at 18 rupees 14 paisa. The Kuwaiti dinar is trading at 460 rupees 74 paisa for buying and 462 rupees 70 paisa for selling.

The Bahraini dinar is valued at 373 rupees 53 paisa for buying and 375 rupees 12 paisa for selling. The Omani rial stands at 365 rupees 77 paisa for buying and 367 rupees 33 paisa for selling. One hundred Indian rupees are being exchanged at a buying rate of 160 rupees and a selling rate of 160 rupees 15 paisa.

Nepal Rastra Bank has noted that these rates are subject to change as needed and that commercial banks may offer different rates. Updated rates can be found on the central bank’s website.
