Bipin Joshi’s family meets President Paudel

KATHMANDU: The mother and sister of Bipin Joshi, a Nepali national from Mahendranagar who was taken hostage by the Palestinian group Hamas, met with President Ram Chandra Paudel on Sunday.

In coordination with the Nepali Embassy in Israel, Bipin’s mother Padma Joshi and sister Pushpa Joshi traveled to Israel, where they met with the President, Prime Minister, and ambassadors of various countries before returning to Nepal.

Speaking after the meeting, Padma and Pushpa Joshi said the issue has now drawn international attention, and they urged all concerned to intensify efforts for Bipin’s safe release.

Padma Joshi appealed for action from a humanitarian perspective, emphasizing that her son is an innocent student who should not be caught in conflict.

President Poudel assured the family that the government would continue to make further efforts at the diplomatic level for Bipin’s release.
